Carnoustie June 12, 2011

Week 6 of the schedule was held on June 12th at the Carnoustie Golf Club under warm and dry playing conditions with a field of 28 taking part. Despite the good scoring conditions only 4 players managed to card rounds of par or better.

Rick Petryshen got his 1st win of the year by carding a round of 86, net 61, and a 2 shot victory over Marcial Victorioso. In the Ladies Division, Grasy Lewis took the title with a tiebreaker win over Donna Smythe and Norma De Chavez, all 3 players posted scores of net 77. This was Grasy's 2nd win on the year.

With his 2nd place finish this week Marcial Victorioso takes over the top spot in the Player of the Year standings with 82 points with Trevor Dobson in 2nd place 16 points back. Dee Dobson continues to lead the way in the Ladies Division with 112.5 points, 28 points ahead of 2nd place holder Norma De Chavez.

Delta May 29, 2011

A field of 28 players participated in the May 29th tournament held at the Delta Golf Club. The scores for the day reflected the warm and dry conditions with 10 players posting scores of par or better.

In the Mens Division, Terry McCarthy took the top spot with a 2 shot victory over Deekay. Terry shot a round of 85, net 58, with 5 pars and 1 birdie.

In the Ladies Division, Dee Dobson recorded her 2nd win of the year with a 1 shot advantage over Marissa Victorioso. Dee carded a round of 91, net 65.

The low rounds of the day were turned by 3 players, Trevor Dobson, Jun De Chavez and Deekay all recorded rounds of 73.

The Player of the Year standings tightened up this week with Trevor Dobson taking the lead with 65 points just 1 point up on Marcial Victorioso. In the Ladies standings Dee Dobson increased her lead over Norma De Chavez, Dee leads with 102.5 points with Norma in 2nd with 68.
